Television queen Julie Gichuru is back to doing what she does best, gracing TV screens after months of hiatus, one that she took in order to focus on her life outside the media.
A former respected prime time news anchor, Gichuru parted ways with the Royal Media Services-owned Citizen TV before having a short stint with national broadcaster KBC.
After KBC, the newscaster went missing and has been seen at lottery events especially involving sport betting platform MCheza which she is linked to.
It seems however that old habits die hard and Gichuru is back on the TV. she is selling her skills to her former employer’s competitor. According to Tuko, she will be hosting a TV game show on KTN every Sunday at 8:00pm.
Gichuru reportedly hosted the premiere of the show, Shinda Washinde, on the station alongside comedian Jalang’o on the night of Sunday, November 6.
Dressed in a figure-hugging little black dress and a contrasting yellow boyfriend jacket, Gichuru looked like a million bucks and no doubt commanded the viewers attention. For Jalong’o, well, he was just being Jalas. The comedian wore his trademark green costume.
Gichuru is back to kill the competition again.
