As much as one tries to, true love cannot be hidden and that was evident with comedian Njugush who wedded the love of his life in a beautiful wedding ceremony at PCEA Evergreen in Runda Estate.

Word started doing the rounds on social media that Njugush was planning to walk down the aisle with his bae this December, but the funny guy was quick to squash the rumours saying it was just going to be a stage play.

Turns out it was true after all, the play happened, however, the audience didn’t gather at the National Theater but a church where they witnessed the man of the moment and his fiancee exchange their vows.

Arguably one of the most respected comedians in the country, Njugush and his longtime girlfriend, Celestine Ndinda, walked down the aisle in a colourful wedding that went down at the PCEA Evergreen in Runda, Nairobi, yesterday, December 16.

The rumor wasn’t far off as it had claimed the wedding would happen on the 19th. But again, who does weddings on a Monday?

As expected, the ceremony saw the who is who in the local entertainment circles attend, among them former Tahidi actor Abel Mutua who was the best man (at least according to the photo), former Mother-in-Law actress ‘Celina’ and Phil the director.

“I remember when I was almost through with college; I was hopeless on getting a job. So I craftily tried to break up with her because I had no future to offer. But let me tell you, she stuck by me; and kept praying for me,” Njugush was quoted in an earlier interview as he explained how he and the new wife have come from far.
