Celebrated Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho has come out lashing at her Kenyan counterparts, issuing a warning and asking them to respect God and stop releasing songs for money and fame.

The ‘Nangoja’ hitmaker was commenting on ‘Mungu Nipe Nyonyo’ a song that has been the talk of town in the last few weeks.

According to Shusho, gospel artists should stop playing with God’s name by releasing meaningless songs.

She is advising the new age musicians to seek inspiration inĀ  the church and read their Bible to understand God’s teachings.

The singer reckons that we must respect the Lord’s word and that gospel has no generation, whether one is young or old.
