Tanzanian gospel artist Bahati Bukuku has come out to squash rumours that she died in a bad road accident.

Word started flying around that the TZ songbird had passed on following a grisly road crash, something that she didn’t take kindly.

An angry Bahati dismissed the news saying she is alive and well and that only God knows when she will leave this world.

Bahati Buku denies rumours that she died.

She went on to condemn people who start that kind of rumour saying they were only out to ruin her reputation and good work.

“It is only God who knows when I will die. Those people who are publishing the false reports believe that they would ruin my reputation and consequently reduce the number of people who appreciate my work. The devil’s plan won’t succeed,” the singer said as quoted by The Standard.

Bahati Bukuku is not the only Tanzanian to be killed by the keyboard in recent times.

Just days ago, another Tanzanian singer was also rumoured to have died, news that spread on social media like bush fire.

Mr Nice was left with no other choice but come out to prove he’s alive at the same time issuing a strong warning to rumour mongers who had claimed that he had passed on.
