Sorry guys but Mercy Cherono, regarded as country’s most beautiful athlete, is officially out of the market after tying the knot with Edmond Ng’etich.

The two love birds got married in a lovely traditional wedding in Bomet county.

An if her husband’s name – Edmond Ng’etich – sounds familiar at all, she is the guy who got lucky and correctly predicted the outcome of 13 games to win Ksh 10 million Mcheza jackpot.

It seems however his winning streak is not over yet as he has gotten lucky once again by marrying popular athlete Mercy Cherono in a lavish traditional wedding that was held in Kipajit village, Chemagel constituency in Bomet County, on December 19, 2016.

26-year-old Cherono is the 5000m silver medal winner in the 2013 world championships, and also two-time junior 3000m champion.

She is considered one of the hottest athletes in the country and her being plucked from the market will for sure break quite a number of souls.

The couple first broke news of their engagement late last year in November.

“It was my special day,” said Cherono of the wedding.

Adding: “I thank my love Edmond, planning committee, parents, friends, athletics family and everyone who took a step to make it (the event) successful, thanks once more for the unconditional love and unwavering support, you made my day colorful and unforgettable. I give praise to God.”
