Love is in the air as two of Kenya’s richest kids are prepping to walk down the aisle and get united in holy matrimony.

Yes, Anerlisa Muigai – Keroche Breweries heiress – just recently got proposed to by her rich boyfriend Stephen. And of course she said yes to the love of her life.

In a lengthy social media post, Anerlisa shared what the past five years have been like, how she sat patiently waiting for Steve to accesorise her finger. Well, actually she didn’t just sit, she did a lot of cooking and ironing.

But as she puts it, patience is a virtue and after waiting for half a decade, her love finally made the bold move and proposed to her.

A shiny expensive-looking ring and matching bracelets (diamond encrusted of course) sealed the deal.

Anerlisa Muigai_KerocheAnerlisa said:

“#Engaged. Waiting is a sign of true love and patience. Anyone can say “I love you” but not everyone can wait and prove it’s true. After 5 years I have been engaged by the only person I wished to spend my life with. When I was a young girl I used to think that beauty and how I looked physically is what made a man marry a woman. Wrong!!! It’s about taking care and respecting him. Call me old school but I am one of those girls who cook everyday and iron clothes every morning.”

Adding: “Not that I can’t get anyone to do it, I feel more of a woman doing them. I have come across ladies who won’t go work in the kitchen because they do not want to spoil their nails. Commitment takes a lot of sacrifice and patience. The way you maintain and make yourself look should all be a bonus. You can also never rush a man into marrying you. I used to wonder why he was taking so long to propose yet I thought I had everything he needed but trust me there is something deeper a man look for in a woman. Patience is a virtue.¬†#godfirst¬†#isaidyes #engaged #engagedwith1ringand2bracelets. #patience #greatful #5years.”
