It’s only March but the scandal of the year is already with us, and it involves a mouthy Jubilee Party bigwig and a beautiful colleague sponsored to the Senate by the party.
The love affair between two Jubilee lawmakers has been laid bare by a weekly newspaper and as you might have guessed it already, the internets have gone wild.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has romantically been linked to the youngest lawmaker in the Senate, also a former journalist. It is said the two have been in constant communication and often travell together.
Quietly, away from a suspecting public, a love affair has reportedly been brewing between Deputy President William Ruto’s ally and Elgeyo Marakwet lawmaker Kipchumba Murkomen and his nominated colleague Naisula Lesuuda.
The story begins from an email by Murkomen pouring out his heart to Naisula, 33, and the picture being painted is one of an upside down Senator. Murkommen is heads over heels with the pretty lass.
“I fell in love with you, I don’t know how, I don’t know where, but I did,” the Nairobian quotes Murkomen.
But emails aside, the two also reportedly use WhatsApp and live chat application, Facetime, to further their affair.
The publication also goes on to share a still showing the Senators chatting on Facetime, it shows a love-bugged bare-chested Murkomen chatting as Lesuula’s face fills a corner, both are in bed.
It is also said that last year, on November 18, the former university teacher, and Lesuula who used to relay news at KBC, travelled together to Amsterdam, Netherlands and sat side by side in the plane.
It should be noted at this point that Murkomen is married to one Gladys Wanjiru, a lady she met way back at the university and together they are parents to three children.
Leisuula, although not married, is said to have been cohabiting with her boyfriend, an IT expert, during the said affair.
