Now, the family of renowned disk jockey are appealing for financial help after the he was diagnosed with brain tumor about a week ago.
Reports have it that DJ Lastborn, whose real name is Benson Ouma, suffered a stroke in the lakeside city of Kisumu where he had gone to visit some family members and friends.
The famous turntablist was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors discovered that he has a tumor growing in his brain after conducting some tests and surgical procedures.
A picture has emerged (see above) of the veteran deejay who is now confined to a hospital bed since the incident. Lastborn has been in the Kenyan entertainment industry for nearly twenty years.
His friends and family members are pleading with the public for support ahead of a surgery to rectify DJ Lastborn’s situation.

DJ Lastborn is synonymous with reggae music in the country and people especially in their thirties have grew with the name. He gained deejaying experience working with Black Supremacy for many years. He later branched out on his own and formed Lastborn Entertainment.
