After his unceremonious, humiliating even, exit from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party where he was an executive officer, Margerer Langat has revealed how much he received from party members in compensation.

Langat told a court that he was physically assaulted after a fight broke out during the now defunct CORD parliamentary group meeting in 2014. The news was awash then with images of a handful of City county reps beating him senselessly, raining on him blows and kicks as Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka just watched from the periphery.
