Ayeiya last performance on Churchill that made people cry [VIDEO]

Kenyans are still absorbing the shock following the untimely death of comedy great Emmanuel Makori also known as Ayeiya Poa Poa or AKA.

The talented comedian passed away in the dawn of Friday, April 14, after his car lost control and hit a concrete pole along Magadi road on his way home. He was in the company of his wife, fellow Churchill Show comic Paul wa Kimani and Nairobi Half Life star Maina Olwenya. It is also believed a fifth person was in the car.

The whereabouts of Ayeiya’s wife is still unknown although it is said she suffered severe injuries and was admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital. Award-winning actor Olwenya is yet to speak up after the accident. Wa kimani has shared the last photo of the late which he took ten minutes before the accident. His wife was in his arms.

Ayeiya will be laid to rest on Friday, April 21, at his parents’ home in Kijauri, Nyansiongo, Kisii county, together with his grandmother who died a week ago.

But before then, a funeral service has been planned for today (Wednesday, April 19) and the body will be transported to Kisii on Thursday ahead of the Friday burial.

NTV aired a Churchill Show episode dedicated to the late Ayeiya in the most special way this past Sunday. It featured Ayeiya’s last performance which was recorded just hours before his passing.
