Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto who recently joined the National Super Alliance (NASA), officially  becoming its fifth principal, has teared into the Jubilee administration led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

The Chama Cha Mashinani leader said he was all in, that he is teaming up with the rest of the leaders in the Opposition, with the sole aim of sending home the Jubilee gang during the forthcoming General Election which is just three months away.

The former URP diehard joined Raila Odinga (ODM), Nasa creator cum ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka and their Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula to form the newly launched ‘Pentagon’.

The outspoken Governor was promised four cabinet slots just like the other original Nasa principals in a pre-election deal that will also guide as the base for the formation of a new government, if the Opposition carries the day on August 8.

While speaking to a charged crowd at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi on Thursday, April 20, Ruto only had unkind words for Jubilee which he helped found, but which he has been rebelling against.

Ruto who has been at loggerheads with Deputy President William Ruto amid supremacy wars in the vote-rich Rift Valley, said he was sorry for being part of the team that formed Jubilee which he termed as ‘ridiculous’.

“I apologise to Kenyans for being part of the process that signed the formation of Jubilee, I have never seen a ridiculous regime like Jubilee,” the Bomet county boss observed.

He lashed at the Uhuruto-led government for failing to back devolution, even going as far as saying President Kenyatta’s administration was hell bent on frustrating Governors.

He said the Jubilee government had failed terribly at improving the welfare of Kenyans by not providing basic necessities.
