The Kiambu county boss has accused DP Ruto of allegedly using money to get in the way of his bid for the very-important Jubilee Party ticket to defend his seat.

According to Kabogo who was speaking to a local publication, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s number two dished out money at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Pangani in order to ensure that he lost in the party primaries.

“We saw so and so receiving money from a black Mercedes Benz at Jubilee headquarters. They would go to a hotel and plan how to rig and the people who were planning mentioned the DP’s name.” Kabogo said as quoted by the publication.

The Governor went on to add that he has proof to support the claims should it be necessary for him to do so.

Kabogo and Ruto have been at loggerheads with each other, the two don’t see each other eye to eye after the vocal and oft controversial Governor fell out with the DP last year over his thoughts regarding the hot topic of 2022 politics.

Kabogo told Ruto during a public gathering that the Central Kenya region voters would not automatically support him to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022.
