Bahati, just like his brother by another mother – Willy Paul – has been on the receiving end of fans, thanks to the controversies he has have brought to this very world.
While many say today’s Bahati is not the one of yesteryears, the time when Kenyans fell in love with the mellow-voiced singer, thanks to hits such as ‘Mama’ and ‘Barua’, he insists that he is the same singer but and is only spreading his musical wings.
But we all know he has indeed changed after all, a wise man once said that the only constant in life is change, and changed he has, considering that things like prayer partners were previously unheard off.
Now, Mtoto Wa Mama who is giving the term change a whole new meaning, was recently spotted on the social media streets donning school uniform which, leaving many to wonder whether he has gone back to school.
But forget the bony Baha in school uniform, what has once again left tongues wagging is the fact that he is doing a video with yet another secular artiste, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo.
Bahati’s fans must have gotten used to such news by now, even though many of them hoped for something different. I think Baha owes his fans an explanation.. Whether he is still a gospel artiste or he is now a fully-fledged secular musician. So far, Baha has worked with King Kaka and Wyre on ‘Kuchu Kuchu’, and Tanzanian Rayvanny, all for the secular world.
But in his defense, Kevin has also recently dropped the hit gospel collab ‘Kumbe Kumbe’ with a gospel artiste named Mr. Seed.
