William Ruto close friend openly praises Raila Odinga

There was social media drama earlier today, Wednesday, June 14 after one of Deputy President William Ruto’s closest pals, shocked many after gushing over the DP’s fiercest political rival.

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir also known as DBK, known for his socialite tendencies and flashy lifestyle, and also for supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta, praised the Opposition leader Raila Odinga through a tweet.

According the tweet, the vocal lawyer heaped Raila with praise saying he is a political beacon in the country for championing democracy.

Kipkorir said Kenya would still be under the dictatorship of a 94-year-old President Daniel arap Moi if it was not for Raila’s unrelenting struggles and sacrifices to liberate the country to democracy.

”Without Raila Odinga, Kenya will still be a dictatorship and Daniel Arap Moi still President at 94. This is a knowable and indisputable truth,” Kipkorir tweeted.

Soon after Kipkorir’s tweet went live, many especially Kenyans on social media including the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Nairobi Woman Representative candidate Esther Passaris, hopped on social media to echo the sentiments.

Raila is vying for presidency in the forthcoming General Election slated for August 8, after he was picked as the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate at Uhuru Park on April 27, 2017 following months of intense negotiations.
