Even King Kaka agrees Khaligraph Jones is the real OG

The King recognises the Kayole emcee as the baddest rapper

There’s no doubt that the Kenyan rap industry has some of the most talented artistes this side of the Sahara and have been competing for the crown, complete with beefs.

At the top of the crowd is Kaka Empire hocho King Kaka aka Rabbit and his Kayole counterpart Khaligraph Jones who has been in the news of late for other reasons other than fast delivery of lines which he is known for.

The discussion (or is it a debate) by their fans is who exactly deserves to be called the ‘hottest rapper in Kenya’? The shortlist includes King Kaka, Khaligraph Jones, and the more ghetto Juliani and Octopizzo.

That question might have been answered recently albeit halfly, if a post on a Kaka Empires social media page is anything to go by. The post also goes to show that King Kaka and Khali camps have no bad blood.

Kaka Empire wished the ‘Yego’ hitmaker a happy birthday but in a way that left many asking questions. The public have all along assumed that the relationship of the two respected emcees went south long ago.

“Happiest birthday to the real OG @khaligraph_jones may you have many many more and may you continue to grow. Happy birthday! Kaka Empire.” reads the post.

It happens though that they are actually good buddies.

It will be remembered too that King Kaka and Khaligraph Jones have a collabo together. They were featured in 2015 by Phy on the track ‘Ruka’. Watch it’s video below.
