Pierra Makena goes berserk after magazine attacked her weight [VIDEO]

Top Kenyan female deejay Pierra Makena is uncontainable after a popular Kenyan magazine attacked, scratch that, savagely demeaned her in one of their segments.

Pulse, a pull-out from one of Kenya’s top-selling newspapers, published photos of her in a popular segment dubbed ‘Fashion Police’, the writers ripped Pierra who is without a doubt one of Kenya’s top female deejay.

The magazine took shots at her post-pregnancy body. She is a mother to a one-year-old daughter.

The segment usually shows photos of fashion fails and fiercely attacked Pierra by body shaming her in the most humiliating of ways.

The evidently outraged deejay who is now a host of new television show, didn’t take it lying down. She hit back at the publication via a video she posted on one of her social media pages.

Dj Pierra hopped on Instagram to let off steam by blasting the writer involved. She accompanied the video with a lengthy caption saying it was a shame that the magazine shamed a woman for gaining wait after giving birth.

She said:

“The last thing a person should tell a Mother is how bad she looks. . Putting her down is unfair and uncouth. This should stop..I speak as a mom! And kudos to all women and mothers looking gorgeous and bringing up beautiful children! !!! The beauty is in the children we have…. I was deeply hurt and I even let it out on my show @letstalkke tells you how emotional we get sometime ??”
