Popular rapper Khaligraph Jones has let loose his highly-anticipated new track ‘Gaza’, and not just that but it comes complete with its video.
This song was supposed to hit he streets last week but Khali told his fans that the project was facing delays because management wasn’t too sure about the content of the track, the message that is being passed.
You see, there was a general ill-feeling toward the whole ‘Gaza’ thing. The title is borrowed from a notorious Kayole gang whose members have been terrorising people in that neighbourhood and many lives have been lost as a result.
In the track, the Kayole-raised emcee takes issue with a faceless cop who has been felling the gang members and boasting about it on social media. Hessy Wa Kayole warns suspected Gaza gang members to quit crime and shoots them dead if they disregard his warnings.
Personally I doubt ‘Hessy’ exists in person but is a character created by the police force, or a few cops who are involved in fighting crime in Eastlands and such.
Khaligraph is warning ‘Hessy’, he’s asking him to go slow or they will find him and do to him as he does to the gang members.
Zipo.co.ke wrote about a video Baba Yao posted on social media of a him waking from the dead. We predicted the clip is taken from the ‘Gaza’ project. Well, the clip is out and turns out we were right.
Watch it above.
