Reports reaching Zipo.coke indicate that NTV will cancel its popular Friday night show The Trend.

Trend has been happening every week, consistently for the past five years and is an entertainment show that brings in players in the industry including actors and artistes and is backed by a resident deejay and more recently a guest live band.

According to word doing the rounds on social media, a source privy to the inner workings of the media giant that is NTV, it is still a secret that The Trend was being scrapped to make way for a show that will be modeled around Citizen TVs 10 Over 10 which is hosted by Willis Raburu and the gorgeous Joey Muthengi.

Going by the working title Flip 360, it will be a 2 hour show although part of production reportedly want certain elements of the trend be retained and a few modification done on others.

This is coming on the back of Larry Madowo who took the show in its infancy and built it to what it had turned out to be, resigned from hosting it last a month ago saying that other engagements at NMG had forced him to.
