Tension has filled the country as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) continues to put together numbers before they can announce the official results of the presidential race.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is still leading according to the latest provisional results with results from only three of the 40,883 polling stations remaining. He has amassed an impressive 8,090,513 votes (54.26%) while NASA head Raila Odinga managed to convince 44.85% (6,687,859) of the voters to cast a their ballots in his favour -Time: 3:04pm, August 10, 2017.
On Wednesday, August 9, the Opposition leader led his coalition in rejecting the results saying they had been tampered with.
Zipo.co.ke has come across the news of a Kisumu man who has stripped naked as he protests the election results which show Raila Odinga trailing Uhuru. The unidentified man is crying wondering why the former Prime Minister always loses despite receiving overwhelming support from election to election.
A clip of the guy is doing the rounds on social media showing the him standing in the middle of an empty road naked, save for his underwear, as he holds his waist moving around crying. The passersby aren’t much of a help as some can be heard agreeing with his sentiments while psyching him up to continue weeping.
The video has since gone viral in the various social media platforms eliciting quite some reactions (mixed) as netizens share in his plight and pity while some term his actions silly and uncalled for.
