VIDEO: Ben Githae – ‘Wembe Ni Ule Ule’

Call it 'UhuRuto Tano Tena' remix

Just last month, Kenyans got hooked to ‘Uhuru Na Ruto Tano Tena’ a song which soundtracked the Jubilee Party campaigns as President Uhuru kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto crisscrossed the country seeking reelection.

And getting reelected they did.. well, almost. About twenty days after the duo was announced winners of the August 8 poll, by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati, the Supreme Court nullified the win citing massive irregularities and illegalities.

Chief Justice David Maraga ordered fresh elections within sixty days and the electoral body gazetted October 17, 2017 as the day Kenyans will vote in the repeat polls.

Uhuru and Ruto hit the ground running in a renewed quest to reclaim their victory saying Kenyans had made a decision on the ballot but four judges decided to squash their wishes. They have since visited five counties and more rallies are planned around the country in the next coming month.
