Kenyan musician David Mathenge, popularly known as Nameless, can finally breath a sigh of relief after nearly losing his life because of complications caused by a tumour in his head.
The veteran singer took to social media to express his joy after doctors gave him a clean bill of health and even went on to explain in greater details what exactly happened and what doctors discovered.
Wahu Kagwi, Nameless’ wife, could not hide her joy after her husband finally landed home. Also a veteran singer, she revealed how her younger daughter, Nyakio, was so excited during that last visit to hospital, that she told the hospital staff she had gone to take her dad home.
“Nyakio told everyone from the hospital security, to the nurses that she has come to take her daddy home 😊😊.” She posted on Instagram.
Zipo.co.ke reported earlier, how Nameless suddenly developed a splitting headache while attending a conference with his fellow artistes.
Singers Nonini and Daddy Owen reportedly came to his rescue and rushed him to hospital where scans revealed he had a blood clot in the head after an artery burst.
He was put under medication, forcing him to cancel a show in the neighbouring Uganda and a lined up US tour.
