Renown political commentator, Mutahi Ngunyi, has warned the Jubilee Party against celebrating National Super Alliance presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, withdrawal from the presidential race.

Ngunyi says Jubilee should first understand the Nasa scheme from start to end, adding that the worst is yet to happen.

According to him, it could be more ugly than it looks, that it is a scheme by Chief Justice David Maraga which begun with the September 1 ruling which nullified Uhuru Kenyatta’s win.

“Jubilee did not see the Maraga Scheme. They should not celebrate before they understand the Raila withdrawal Scheme. It is URGLY!” Ngunyi said on Twitter.

Soon after the unprecedented ruling, President Kenyatta went on an attack spree on the four judges who ruled in favour of the petitioner, he termed the majority decision a judiciary coup.

Ngunyi says the coup will spill into November 1 when the Opposition goes to court to declare Uhuru’s mandate ended on October 31.

“1st November, NASA goes to Maraga arguing Uhuru’s mandate expired on Oct 31st. Caretaker President is installed by Maraga. And Coup continues,” he said.

He was quick to note too that Raila’s withdrawal from the race is invalid as it lacks a key ingredient, after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission acknowledged receiving a letter from Raila informing them that he and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, will not take part in the October 26 poll.

“If Raila did not withdraw using Form 24A, his withdrawal is NULL and VOID. A letter is not enough. If he used 24A, election is 10th Jan 2018.” Ngunyi explained.
