Have you noticed how screen siren Lilian Muli has become Aunt Abby (that relationship guru columnist in every newspaper) of late?
Well, say hello to Aunt Lilly the self-certified relationship expert. And never mind, I hear most professional marriage counselors aren’t so well married either.
These past few weeks, the divorced mother of one has been taking her fellow women through a crush course on the type of men to date.
This is after she recently told women who date married men to stop the behaviour because engaging in such a relationship is like ‘killing your future’.
Now, the Citizen TV news anchor is back to again give her mainly unsolicited advice to Kenyan women but on a different topic. She posted on social media how dating weak men is a no no.
According to Lillian Muli who has been accused of dating a married man herself, having a thing with a man whose eyes are always roaming is the greatest mistake women make.
She went ahead to tell Kenyan women to keep off such men saying ‘you cannot control the actions of a man’.
“If you are involved with a weak man, you will always end up sharing him. Beat up one girl, another one will be texting him next week, curse out two girls online, they’ll be back in his inbox the next month– he is the problem, not the other girls. Your job is to love your man, not to babysit him. You can’t spend your life trying to guard against what might happen when he’s left alone. The unpopular truth is that a man will always do what he wants to do. If your love isn’t enough to discipline him, then it’s misplaced on him. How do you compete with other women? You find a man strong enough not to make them your competition in the first place.” She said.
And her army of fans agreed:
Adenbasra: Yes no time to babysit cheater, liar who doesn’t understand himself.
Tendaimercy: Preach gal.
Shikuumandela: Hahaha…. Wewe ni moto. Thanks for saying the truth gal. 🙌🙌🙌
Muga.maureen: Well said 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏼
Natoallan: very true!
Martinkihia: I wish my mother had the same thoughts as you.
