Citizen TV Swahili news anchor, Kanze Dena, is in a class of her own thanks to the mastery of the language and is one of the most popular media personalities.
For a long time though, many have been asking whether the Coastarian beauty is married or single with Team Mafisi fantasising about getting a piece of her.
Well, she has said before that she is a mother of one although it remains a mystery whether she is taken, single or is practicing secondary virginism.
That aside, the newscaster recently introduced for the first time her ex-lover, the father of her son, Amani.
The super talented Citizen TV presenter and her son went on a road trip to Nyeri with his dad this past weekend and Kanze took to social media to document the moment.
About co-parenting, below is what she had to say:
“Good morning from mama Amani.. Amani and my co parent… .. Kibaridi jamani kitaniua mwanangwa wa Jane Mebunda.. Interview manenoz for the ‘adolescent’ as he calls himself. Just wanna say co-parenting works …unaweka mungu kwanzaa… mtoto mbele na tofauti zenu kando. Ila najua kwa wengine najua napigia mbuzi guitar!!😂 😂
haidhuru langu nishasema,” kanze wrote.
She even revealed she once had a daughter who passed on:
“The sad memories of the death of my daughter reoccurred. Consequently, I was buried in deep thoughts. I wondered if I’d make a good mother, and if I’d get married afterwards. My relationship with my baby daddy wasn’t good at that time. The period was a turbulent one for me.” Kanze said.
Adding: “My mother also fell sick around that time. She was diagnosed with colon cancer, and she needed financial support. I was unable to support her as I had just delivered Amani. Sadly mum passed away on August 8, 2007. It was a big blow! I wish she was alive to see me read news on TV today.”
