Are you a Prezzo fan and have been wondering when the guy will stop making headlines over things unrelated to music and release a new track?
Well, you’re in luck today as the “king of bling” has set aside controversies albeit for a few moments, to drop a new song by the title ‘Vumilia’, which is Swahili for persevere.
Prezzo, as hinted above, has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons (not really because it has made him remain relevant) with stuff that have got nothing to do with what made him famous over a decade ago -music.
Mostly, the rapper has been featured in blogs for his personal life, love life to be more precise as well as speculation about his rumoured dwindling finances. It is said he was recently unable to record music in big TZ studios.
Fans of the rapper though will be glad to know that their favourite artiste has made a comeback, he is back to doing what he knows best and recently uploaded a video on YouTube for his newest project.
Back in the day, his Rapcellency ruled the charts with a myriad of hits including ‘Naleta Action’, ‘Let’s Get Down’, ‘Mimi na Wewe’ and ‘Mafans’, among others. That reputation was thrown into the dustbin though as dramas with her ex Michelle Yola and flings with a number of babes including Bongo socialite Amber Lulu took centre stage.
‘Vumilia’ is the production work of Sappy, a Kenyan-based Tanzanian beatmaker and the video was directed by Cream Vision directors.
Well, pop a glass of champagne for El Presidente is back!
Here’s the video:
