Tahidi High’s OJ dead, actually the internet killed him

He is known as one Kenya’s most iconic actors on the Kenyan TV scene, but the internet decided to kill him on Friday, December 2.

David Mugo, popularly known as O.J, a former actor on the popular show Tahidi High that airs on Citizen TV, was yesterday killed and buried by the Kenyan blogosphere.

A faceless Kenyan blog which thought it could do with cheap traffic to its site, posted information that OJ was pronounced dead after developing breathing problems at his home.

In a series of dazzling posts, the titles even went as far as promising the reader that they would share photos of the late talented actor.

tahidi oj dead

tahidi oj deadThis is happening at a time when the acting fraternity lost one of their own. Just a few months ago, budding actor Kevin Rost, also of Tahidi High, passed on after a short illness. It was reported that he had been asthmatic.

Close scrutiny of the article reveals that the story was essentially about Rost but was twisted and titled to look like it was OJ’s .

But this is not the first time a blog had killed a prominent actor, another one killed popular Tahidi High actor, Omosh, claiming that his love for the booze had sent him to his early grave.

It has been confirmed however that OJ is well and in tip top condition, that he is enjoying life with his wife and kid.
