Daddy Owen is now marriage counselor in chief if a piece of advice he is giving gospel singer Gloria Muliro regarding her failed marriage with Pastor Eric Omba which ended in divorce, is anything to go by.
Daddy Owen who got married to the love of his life not long ago, says Gloria should not remarry following her permanent separation from Omba -a pastor and a singer.
Omba, it should be noted, has since found another partner and has a kid. Gloria and Omba did not have any kids.
“If a gospel singer’s spouse dies, one can remarry because it was not their decision for that to happen but when one divorces, that one should never marry because it was their decision like the case Gloria Muliro, she should never. You should stay like that till you die,” the Star quoted the ‘Vanity’ singer.
According to him, Christians should not remarry following divorce as it goes against Biblical teachings, citing Gloria and Omba’s parting ways in 2015 after the singer claimed her husband was cheating on her and was also abusive in their marriage.
She one day walked out of her marital home, never to return despite Omba’s sustained efforts to win her back.
Gloria vowed to never go back to Omba as she had already made up her mind subsequently leading to an increased focus on her music career, releasing hit after hit with her latest being ‘Narudisha’.
