It’s confirmed.. Former Citizen TV news anchor Terryanne Chebet indeed welcomed a baby whose photo she gladly shared recently on social media.
The irony, the ex newscaster noted, was that the birth day was special as her baby arrived exactly a year after she was laid off from Royal Media services.
The journalist described that last year day as a devastating moment in her life as the axe fell when she was at the prime of her career.
“A mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside… When a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone…. She arrived on the 26th of October. On the exact date last year I received a letter informing me of my retrenchment. Is it just a co-incidence? God does have an incredible sense of humour. I am truly and deeply thankful.” She said on Instagram.
Ms Chebet is owner of Keyara, a line of natural skin and hair care products, a business she started while still in employment. When not marketing her oils, she does professional emceeing for corporate events and also offers communication training seminars.
