Norman Magaya, the National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer has reacted harshly hours after losing a place in the East Africa Legislative Assembly.
Zipo.co.ke has stumbled upon a strongly-worded social media post by the outspoken lawyer dated Friday, December 15, in which he strongly states that he couldn’t go on his knees to beg for consideration for the plum job.
“Unapologetic, tenacious, relentless, unremorseful, non-compromising and principled. I will never beg on my knees for favors. Keep them. Forever stay on my feet,” his morning tweet reads.
Showing gratitude to his mentor James Orengo whom he described as charismatic, Mr. Magaya noted that there is dignity in remaining firm.
The Nasa boss was one of the people whose names were forwarded by the Opposition to be considered for the lucrative Eala jobs.
In the end Nasa settled for Raila Odinga’s elder brother and former MP, Oburu Oginga, Kalonzo Musyoka’s son, Kennedy Musyoka, Abdikadir Aden, and Fatuma Ibrahim.
