On the other hand, FC Midtjylland has had a stronger start in the Europa League, accumulating two more points than Porto. The Danish team triumphed over Maccabi Tel Aviv (0-2) and Union Saint-Gilloise (1-0), although they fell to FCSB (2-0) and Eintracht Frankfurt (1-2).
In the Danish league, they are still in the title race, just three points behind FC Copenhagen. Midtjylland aimed for their third consecutive win when they faced Lyngby last weekend.
Both teams are dealing with injury concerns. Porto will be without key players like Ivan Marcano, Fran Navarro, Grujic, and Gul, while Midtjylland is missing Simsir, Franculino, Osoro, Marrony, and Gue-sung Cho.
Still, both sides have standout players to watch, such as Porto’s Samu Omorodion, Galeno, and Nico Gonzalez. Midtjylland will rely on attackers like Buksa and Franculino, assuming they recover from their injuries.
