Salim Babu has selected the AFC Leopards duo of Hassan Beja and Chris Koloti for his 23-player team for Malawi. Salim Babu, the head coach of the Rising Stars, has announced a 23-man squad set to travel for the Four Nations Tournament in Malawi, taking place from Friday, March 22, to Sunday, March 24. The team features nine players from the squad that advanced to the final of the U18 CECAFA Boys’ Championships, including Tyrone Kariuki and Stanley Wilson. Additionally, Chris Koloti and Hassan Beja from the AFC Leopards are among those selected. The team left for Malawi on Thursday, March 21, and is slated to play their opening match against Zimbabwe at the Bingu National Stadium on Friday, March 22. This tournament is crucial for developing and showcasing top youth talent, as well as serving as preparation for the 2024 AFCON Under-20 qualifiers later in the year.
