Gospel Singer Bahati on Monday, September 4, attended the Youth Summit at State House, an event that was organised to discuss the challenges facing the young people in the country and the plans the government had for them to better their lives.
While at the President’s official residence, award-winning gospel artist Bahati was spotted having a private chat with the Head of State. Naturally, especially after the singer made headlines for controversially ‘unseating’ Uhuru during Jubilee Party launch, many were curious to know what the two discussed.
But fans of Bahati don’t have to wait too long to know what the popular singer talked about with the President.
He has revealed that Uhuru promised to support him as he strives in his journey as an artist.
“I Promise to give you 100% Support in Your Journey to Greatness, Count On Me Bahati!!!” the gospel artist quoted Uhuru.
Bahati indicated that President Uhuru’s remarks almost moved him to tears as he had never dreamt of getting support from the President.
“Almost shed a tear when President Uhuru Kenyatta said this to me minutes ago at State House, Nairobi. Who is like My GOD?” Bahati posed.
Earlier during the summit, the multiple hits creator faulted the government for not supporting upcoming artists until they gained fame, him included.
