Have the news that Kenyan export to Hollywood Lupita Nyong’o is HIV positive, at least according to a US publication?
The news hit the online newspaper racks sometimes back making her name trend on different social media platforms after a fake news blog published the story.. as if the disease is a death sentence.
What happened to fighting the stigma associated with the disease?
The news left Lupita’s fans shocked but her father, Kisumu Senator Ayang’ Nyong’o, came out to rubbish the claims.
Since then however, Lupita, an Oscar-winning actress has kept mum, she completely kept out of the public eye but recently resurfaced at a public event for the first time after the fake new went viral.
Lupita graced the CFDA Awards on Tuesday, June 6 [See pic above], and in her usual ways, she never disappointed in the dressing department. She donned a gold Jason Wu dress that accentuated her African lady curves. She matched the outfit with feathery heels.
You can tell she is least bothered about the rumours of her being HIV positive and I don’t think a response from her will come in this lifetime.
She prefers to instead share photos and videos of herself doing stuff, like dancing with an an unidentified male friend.
