After treating herself to expensive stunners (we’re talking 18 karat gold designer glasses with a KSh 124,000 price tag) during her birthday, wedding bells can now be heard from a distance and her soon to be Swiss husband has already gifted her in advance.

Forget your favorite celeb (read Jaguar, Prezzo or Papa Dennis etc) this one here, Akothee, is no doubt the real deal. The singer has already shared recording booths with almost all the big artists in the continent and spending millions of shillings while at it.

It’s not even a week since Kenyans went ham on social media over singer Nyota Ndogo’s decision to tie the knot with her evidently older Danish lover. One of the people who came out in her defence was fellow singer Akothee who adviced her to follow her happiness. According to Tuko, Akothee showered the Coastal singer with a congratulatory message on Facebook, which lauded Nyota Ndogo for following her dream and marrying the man that she was in love with.

Now, unsurprisingly, Akothee has announced her upcoming wedding to her Swiss lover.  It has now been revealed that this is the man that has been sponsoring her flashy lifestyle. Come Saturday, November 5, the singer will be walking down the aisle.

Rumor has it that Akothee who is already a mother of five, will probably relocate to Europe with her family after her wedding. Another local artiste, rapper Abbas Kubaff, he of the K-South fame, permanently relocated after getting marrying his white lover.

If you memory serves you right, then you know singer Nyota Ndogo boasted a Volkswagen Touran as her wedding gift from her husband Nielsen. Now, as one would expect, Akothee has taken it a notch higher with a deck-boat as her gift for saying yes to the Swiss.

Kenya’s renowned musician Nyota Ndogo finally walked down the aisle, marrying her Danish lover Henning Nielsen after three years of dating.  Their colourful Islamic wedding went down at the musician’s Voi home on Sunday, May 22.

This is Nyota Ndogo’s second marriage after the previous with Mombasa-based music producer K-Shot with whom she has sired two children and hopes to get more with her new husband.
