President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto put aside their palatial residences over the weekend to visit ordinary folks with the former drinking water never mind it was bottled, in a mud village house.
The President’s people even made sure serviettes were available (chances are dismal the host provided them) as he hang out with the family in their living room on Saturday, May 28.
President Uhuru was visiting families in Kiambu villages where his government has been connecting locals with electricity.
Then on Sunday, Tuko reports Ruto, who has often called himself the ‘hustler’, was photoed enjoying chicken stew at a local joint deep in the village in Uasin Gishu county.
