The Prices & How to Buy Tickets for Harambee Stars’ ‘Home’ Clash Against Zimbabwe at Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole, Uganda
Harambee Stars are set to kick off their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with a match against Zimbabwe on Friday, 6 September. The game will take place at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Namboole, Uganda, with the kickoff scheduled for 4 PM.
Due to ongoing renovations at Kenya’s Kasarani Stadium and the construction of Talanta Sports City in preparation for the 2027 AFCON, Kenya has been forced to host their home matches in Uganda. Nyayo Stadium, which was given a conditional permit to host CAF inter-club preliminary rounds, will be closed after 15th September and has not been cleared for international matches.
In response to this situation, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has released ticketing details for the much-anticipated clash against Zimbabwe. Fans can purchase tickets through the Nelson Mandela Stadium’s official website, with three ticket categories available:
- Ordinary Tickets: Priced at approximately Ksh520.
- VIP Tickets: Priced at approximately Ksh1,730.
- VVIP Tickets: Priced at approximately Ksh3,500.
Buying tickets is a simple process. After visiting the stadium’s official website, fans will see the match displayed prominently on the homepage. By clicking the “book” button, they can choose from the three ticket categories.
Fans can also select their preferred seating section within the stadium, which is displayed on the right-hand side of the page. After selecting the ticket and seating section, fans can click “Continue” at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
Next, personal details such as name, email address, and phone number must be entered. During checkout, fans can choose their preferred payment method, either via card or mobile money. Once payment is completed, tickets will be sent directly to the provided email address.
